"A life well communicated is a life well lived."      Eln Albert

Hi.  My name is Eln.  People often ask me how is this pronounced? Just say it as though it were spelled "Ellen"

"Eln", is spelled based on ancient languages. Although I often get Elm, Elyn, Ellen and Ellan.  I answer to them all!  And NO, my parents aren't responsible.  I also love to answer to Mama, Mommy, Sweetheart and Honey.  Sorry but the rest are private!

Wouldn't you agree that the essence of our life is our relationships?  The quality of our relationships is a direct result of how we communicate with each other.  This is interpersonal communications.  Yet how much time do you spend thinking about or working on your ability to be a good communicator?  If you're like most people, not very much time at all.

When asked, people say they would prefer that others be truthful to them in their communications be it in personal relationships or in business.  Why then have we become so challenged with this in our current society?  There was a time when a person's word was as good as a written contract.  An agreement didn't need to be written for it to be honored.  What has happened?

The Great Communicator and our 40th President said: "I've always believed that a lot of the trouble in the world would disappear if we were talking to each other instead of about each other. (April 11, 1984)
- President Ronald Reagan

Eln works with those that are interested in being the best possible communicator.  To be a good communicator is a constant personal challenge and it's worth investing in yourself.

Wouldn't you agree that most of us live for our relationships?  Even though there are times we may not show it as much as we should. Our families are and should be at the top of our lists of what's most important to us.  So let's focus on what gets us to having great relationships, improved communications through better Interpersonal Communication skills.

Ben Franklin said, "There are three things extremely hard; steel, a diamond, and to know oneself."

For more than 17 years, Eln Albert has conducted professional speaking and training programs in interpersonal communications.  She works nationally and internationally with corporate, educational, business clients, and professional trade associations. Her clients scan the full spectrum of industries: architects, lawyers, bankers, jewelers, shipping moguls, realtors, insurance, medical, health, pharmaceuticals and much more.

Eln believes that like agate geode nodules (rocks), we may have a nondescript outer appearance but are full of beautiful gems when we look inside.  And like geodes, with a little polishing we shine. More of your personal and professional brilliance will be revealed when you work with Eln.  You will learn to know and understand your strengths and to defer your weaknesses.   As a result you will be more confident, have more fun, earn more money, experience the satisfaction of even greater success and be happier.

When I was in college, I read this quote and have tried to live my life with this in mind.

"Live as you will have wished to have lived when you are dying."

In loving memory and in honor of my brother, Captain C. Blair Albert, who lived his life each day as though it were the last.  He was an inspiration to me and many others.
